2010 Lunchtime Sport Volleyball Champions

Hooray! Room 5 are the 2010 Lunchtime Sport Volleyball champions! The team, consisting of Hamish Carter, Stephen Tate, Zane Disher, Sheridan Tuimaseve, Paul Barkle, Kayla Polley, Laish Grant and Jaimie Jefferson defeated Room 11 in the final in the gym on Thursday. Our first finals' win for the year.

Making Pancakes

As part of our English Curriculum work on Procedural Text, we visited the Foods Technology room on an afternoon when it was free, and had great fun making pancakes. Later in class, we used our real life experience to write our procedure texts on the recipe and method. Part of the process was to grind our own flour from wheat. The pancakes tasted yummy.
