Team Spelling Champions 2014

The Kahikatea team of Carl Stephens, Aidan Scott-Nanthasack, Chayse Paikea and Natalie Posa have won the team Spelling Challenge in our auditorium in front of the school today (16/04/14) and defended the title from last year. The victory was closely fought, especially with Kauri team who came second, and Totara team who came third; but our spellers eventually came through to win. Congratulations TEAM!

Science Roadshow 2014

Our class attended the Science Roadshow in our school Gymnasium and had an interesting morning doing different activities and watching some amazing experiments!

Science Alive 2014

Last night (1 April) Maeroa Intermediate School had their annual Science Night in the gym. Lots of people came and saw all the classes in action with their Science experiments. Our room was making yummy ice cream! This was a great success and everybody who tasted it, liked it! Even Mr. Hills recommends it! If you would like an explanation on how we made the ice cream, please scroll down and see what we did in class for this experiment. Overall, it was a fun night and all of us who were there had an awesome time!
