Saturday Softball Team in the final

The Maeroa Missiles Softball team, coached by Mr Metcalfe, with Room 5 students Ezra Sa'u, Zane Disher and Sheridan Tuimaseve included in the team, qualified for the final in their Saturday Softball grade. The game was played before a large crowd and was very exciting! But unfortunately, the game was lost in the last innings when the Missiles were unable to stop the winning run to come home and Southnet won the match 15 runs to 14! A great game, with all the Maeroa players putting in 100% effort! Afterwards, at the prizegiving, the team were presented with their trophy for being runners-up, and received certificates.
