Sophie, Jayzelee and Georgia. The Year 8 students from Kahikatea had the opportunity to attend a two hour session at a Waikato University computer lab to learn how to create a game. Room 5 students are pictured above developing their game, which they all got to take away with them on a USB to further develop at home. The group worked extremely well and were praised by the lecturers as being a very receptive group. This event is to become an annual event. Thanks go to the Waikato University staff and our parents who supported on the day. Read all about the visit on the link below to the Waikato University. http://www.waikato.ac.nz/news- |
