Once again Room 5 students featured in the annual school Cross Country, with a number all finishing in the top six within the Championship group. They were- Annie Oxborrow (2nd) and Staria Green (5th) in the Yr 7 girls, Trent Langeveld (2nd) in the Yr 7 boys, Kayla Polley (3rd) in the Yr 8 girls, and Jonno Barnes (6th) in the Yr 8 Boys. Others also excelled, achieving or bettering their goals. At the next week's school Assembly, it was announced that Kahikatea team had won the team's points, so we are champions once again, defending our title from last year.
