Sportswoman of the Year- Jaimie JeffersonJaimie Jefferson was named Sports Woman of the Year at the 2011 Maeroa School Prizegiving. She received the award ahead of 5 other finalists, including Hannah Jenkin and Jessica Forkert, also from Room 5. Sheridan Tuimaseve was a finalist for the Sportsman of the Year. Jessica Needham won the Len Schwabe Trophy for Cultural Achievement and Involvement for 2011, plus the award for the most successful student in Academic Competitions, winning the Excellence in Academic Competitions Cup.
