Waikato Rugby selection

Room 5 student Harry Yates has been selected in the Under 13 years Roller Mills squad to represent Waikato at the 2014 tournament. He played No 8 and was captain of the team for Hamilton Panthers in the recently completed Gwynne Shield tournament held in Cambridge where they finished in 4th place. The 2014 Roller Mills tournament will be played within a new format this year after a century where teams played over a week long tournament hosted within a provincial Rugby Union. The new format sees teams playing over a number of weekends to cut down on rapidly escalating costs, meeting firstly in Cambridge and finally in the Bay of Plenty.
