2015 DLU Wellington trip

Students from across the three classes in our Kahikatea team visited Wellington and took in a number of educational opportunities. We visited TePapa and also saw their Gallipoli exhibition created by WETA Workshop, visited Capital E studios to create 2 TV news programmes, visited the WW1 exhibition created by Peter Jackson and WETA at the old Wellington Museum, went to the movies, participated in the Capital City Connections programme from the Carter Observatory, Museum of the City and Sea, Wellington Art Gallery and the Media Centre at Capital E, went to a FIFA Under 20 World Cup match and featured on television, visited Zealandia and on our last night, went out for dinner at a Mongolian restaurant.
