Trent Langeveld Room 5 have been very successful in all events in the 2011 School Triathlon. The team competition saw almost a clean sweep for Room 5 with the team of Aaria Pene, Anna Butcher & Kayla Polley coming 1st, Tayla Lewis-Devlyn, Laureth Chapman & Charlie-Grace Chapman (R6) coming 2nd, and Te Ua Peters, Sheldon Rogers & Trent Langeveld coming 3rd.
In the individual events, Jessica Forkert achieved 2nd place, although Annie Oxborrow crossed the line in 1st, but was later disqualified for not wearing shoes on the run. In the boys individual competition, Jonno Barnes was placed 1st, and Josh Allen 2nd.
Altogether, 17 students from Room 5 competed.
