A fantastic trip to Wellington has just been completed by 8 students from the class along with Mr. Metcalfe, and 7 other students from Rooms 4 and 6. We stayed at the YHA this year instead of a backpackers, and it was great! Lots of fun was had by all. We flew down from Auckland (flying from Hamilton on AirNZ was too expensive!!!) and visited Te Papa x2, Parliament, Capital E (where we made 2 great news shows), WETA Cave, Zealandia, and had a great time at Ferg's Rockwall climbing, went swimming at Kilburnie, and had a fantastic scenic tour of Wellington by helicopter. Students on the tour from Room 5 were Eden French-Putu, Eilis Yates, Chelsea Walton, Anna Butcher, Jess Forkert, Jess Needham, Josh Allen and Sheridan Tuimaseve.
